From JR Otaru Station

  • Image: Chuo Dori (St.) as seen from JR Otaru station facing the Otaru Canal. Proceed along the right side of Chuo Dori (St.) toward the Otaru Canal Go down Chuo Dori (St.) from JR Otaru Station toward the Otaru Canal.

  • Image: Miyako-dori Shopping Street arcade will be on your right as you proceed along the right side of Chuo Dori (St.). Turn right into the arcade Turn right into the arcade and walk along Miyako-dori Shopping Street.

  • Image: end of the Miyako-dori Shopping Street arcade. Turn left onto Nichigin Dori (St.) here At the end of the arcade, turn left onto Nichigin Dori (St.).

From the Otaru Canal (the Asakusa Bridge)

From Marchen Crossroads (Sakaimachi)

By train: about 75 min. by Rapid Airport train from JR New Chitose Airport Station to JR Otaru Station

From Sapporo Station

By train: about 32 min. by Rapid Airport train from JR Sapporo Station to JR Otaru Station

By bus: about 60 min. by the Otaru express bus (Hokkaido Chuo Bus or JR Hokkaido Bus)
The Iwanai, Yoichi, Niseko, and Shakotan express buses also stop at JR Otaru Station.

Parking

Parking is not available at the museum (exceptions are made in special cases). Visitors are recommended to use public transportation.
